Welcome to the Blanchette's
It was on September 13th 1990 that Robert J. Blanchette arrived in Switzerland. He is the first Blanchette from our line to settle in Europe since our ancestor Pierre Blanchet (Blanquet) immigrated to Canada in 1665.
Since then there have been many stories, so we created this site so that we would be able to share some of these stories with our friends, family or whom ever may happen by.
Our Uncle Roger gave us a genealogy for Christmas in 1975. I still have my copy and I refer to it often.
